Our happy pigs are born and raised at Jako Farm, foraging for grasses and roots in the brushy grasslands along the Arkansas River. Their diet is enriched with raw skim milk and whey, byproducts of making JakoPure cheese and yogurt. Because pigs require a higher protein diet, they also eat a beyond-organic, non-GMO grain ration that we grind at Jako Farm (grains sourced from local farmers). We raise heritage pork breeds, and their meat yields excellent flavor and texture.  Femur bones are ideal for making bone broth.
