Lamb and Mushrooms

Best served over organic noodles, spaghetti squash, zoodles, rice, or cauliflower rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb JakoPure lamb stew meat
  • 1 1/2c. JakoPure lamb bone broth
  • 1/2c. JakoPure plain Greek yogurt ( or coconut milk)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp thickener (arrowroot, cornstarch, flour)
  • 1/4c. Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Step 1

Trim hard fat from lamb and cut into bite-size pieces.

Step 2

Chop onion, garlic, and mushrooms.


Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together bone broth, vinegar, and thickener.

Step 4

Place meat in oven-safe dish or crock pot. Cover with onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Pour broth mixture over all and sprinkle with salt.


Step 5

Cover. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 300 degrees or in crock pot for five hours on low. When done, stir in plain Greek yogurt or coconut milk.
