Anyone who has completed a New Member Appointment is a Bronze member. Membership gives you access to shop in the Bronze area of the farm store. Information about the farm and farm products will be communicated via our email newsletter, which is sent to all members.
Evening on the Farm
Every year we host An Evening on the Farm for all of our Jako Farm members. This is your time to experience the farm! We offer a hay ride through the pasture, a meal featuring JakoPure food, live music, an opportunity to climb the silo, the ambiance of the farm and more! This is one of the few times you can walk through the pasture and pass by the different groups of animals. The event is by donation.
Product Priority
Our goal is simple—if this is where you choose to source your food, we want to make sure you’re able to get what you need.
Because our food is raised seasonally on pasture, availability changes throughout the year. There are times of abundance, and there are seasons when certain items are more limited.
Silver and Gold Members receive first access to beef and pork sides, along with priority when certain items are in shorter supply. To support this, there is a separate shopping area in the farm store where select products are reserved for Silver and Gold Members.
When we have abundance, products are available to all members.
Fridge & Freezer Stock-Up Delivery
Many of our members enjoy coming to the farm—walking through the store, seeing what’s new, and staying connected to where their food is raised.
But we also know life gets busy.
Our once a month Fridge & Freezer Stock-Up Delivery is here for those seasons when you need a little help—so you can keep your freezer full and take the mental load off figuring out what’s for dinner, without making a trip to the farm each time.
You can include anything from the farm store in your order—meat, dairy, eggs, and pantry items.
Fresh produce is not included, and chicken feed is limited to 100 lb per order.
Delivery is offered monthly on scheduled route days (not on-demand) for our Silver and Gold Members.

Free Hipcamp Night
Hipcamp is the Airbnb of camping and our farm is a host site. You have the option to tent camp or park your RV right next to our silo. No tours are included in this, but you get to enjoy the peace and beauty of the farm. Our Gold members receive a free night at our campsite. Product Reserve
If we’re running low on a staple item (milk, cream, butter, ground beef, or whole chicken) we will reserve the quantity you request if you are a Gold Member. You do not need to pre-purchase the items, but we will hold them back for you in our freezers.
Personalized Farm Experience
Is there something on the farm you’ve always wanted to experience? Let us know and we’ll see if we can make happen. Feeding pigs? Tagging along for morning chores? Walking by the river? Our most common experience for Gold members last year was watching Ken milk the cows. This happens about 6:30 am, so it is a commitment! These are experiences that are not available in our normal paid tours or during An Evening on the Farm.
Open enrollment occurs annually in May or as demand allows.
A Jako Farm New Member appointment at the farm is required before signing up. We believe in the power of a farmer and consumer relationship! We want you to have an opportunity to meet us, ask questions and purchase some food before committing to a membership.
No. The membership fee grants you access to shopping in the Silver and Gold area of the store where we reserve priority products.
Signage in the farm store clearly labels which items have been removed from the Bronze shopping area and prioritized for Silver and Gold Members.
There is a separate shopping area in the store for products only available to Silver and Gold Members.
Silver and Gold member have priority access. If we are experiencing a shortage on a product, the item will be taken out of the regular Jako Farm store and moved to a separate area for Silver and Gold level members. This does not guarantee we will never run out of some products, but Silver and Gold members will be given priority.
Silver and Gold members will also have priority access to ordering beef and pork sides.
Gold level members have reserve access to our staple items: milk, cream, butter, ground beef, and whole chicken. If we anticipate a shortage of any of these products, Gold Members will tell us how much product they will need and we will hold the items in our freezer.
