Meet our newest arrivals! (and more)

Spring has arrived!

Ahh, spring. How we love you. You show us that there are so many things to be enjoyed, despite all of life’s current disruptions.

Jako Farm is coming to life in so many ways! The pasture grasses are growing almost fast enough to watch. Trees are budding. Flowers are blooming. And our numbers are growing! This week alone we’ve added 50 baby lambs to the farm and 8 baby calves– 4 boys and 4 girls. The girls have been named Alpha, Asia, Apple, and Alice. If you contributed any of those names, thanks!

Baby chicks will arrive in just a few hours, and everyone always looks forward to that. There’s never a dull moment in the spring!

Bull calves for sale

Dairy-cross bull calves for sale, born at Jako Farm from our stock. $150, while supplies last. Reply to this email and let us know if you’re interested!

Now taking orders for bulk beef

Buying bulk beef saves money. In a side or quarter beef, you’ll get all the cuts of meat that a cow provides at roughly the price of ground beef. That’s big savings, compared to buying all those cuts individually in the farm store.

Due to increased demand for JakoPure food this year, we have only a limited number of beef sides/quarters available and orders will be not filled until fall.

Click the button below to place your order– and do it soon, because sides are limited! (No money is due at this time.) If you’re new to buying beef in bulk, let us know and we’ll walk you through every step of the process.

Fresh milk coming soon!

Shhh, it’s almost a secret (but we couldn’t help telling you)… fresh milk will be in the farm store next week! Stay posted!

Wishing you the simple joys of spring,
— from all of us at Jako Farm
