It’s Time for Turkeys + Our Favorite Product is Back…

Reserve Your Holiday Turkey

Fall is coming – it’s time to plan ahead for a turkey! If you wait until November to order, you will miss out on a pastured turkey gracing your holiday table.

Our JakoPure turkeys are raised on pasture and are free to roam. They forage for grasses and bugs and are supplemented with a non-GMO, organically grown grain ration

Last year we raised turkeys after a six-year hiatus and we had pretty phenomenal feedback. Every customer we talked to said, “It was the best turkey I’ve EVER had!”

Turkeys will range from 12-22 pounds and are sold frozen. Order by September 30th to reserve a turkey as quantities are limited.

Blueberry Kefir Pops are Back

It’s been almost a year since our blueberry kefir pops were available in the farm store.

What is a kefir pop you might ask? Simply kefir, raw cream, organic blueberries, raw honey, and vanilla.

We created this product five years ago when my oldest son and my nephews were toddlers and we wanted easy, healthy snacks for them. I don’t know about your kids, but my kids think things taste better when it looks like it came from a store vs. mommy made it. And don’t worry, you don’t need to be a kid to enjoy these treats!

Story from the Farm

Last week we had the opportunity to attend our favorite conference on a farm in Severy, Kansas. This year’s theme was “For the Love of Soil”. Our keynote speakers were a soil scientist and a human health nutritionist. For one lecture they did a side by side comparison of what humans need vs. what soils need to be healthy and resilient. You know what??…It’s the same thing.

Healthy Soil = Healthy Food = Health People =
Healthy Communities = Healthy Planet

While we enjoyed learning new things, the best part of the conference was joining together with other farmers and consumers who are equally as passionate about this topic. As we often say, it’s all about connection and we’re glad you have joined our community.
