It’s that time of year when I’m craving warm, comforting food. For me, that often comes in the form of soup.
One of my all time favorites is Loaded Sweet Potato Soup. Its ingredients combine so many of my favorite fall flavors:
Sausage, check.
Bone broth, check.
Sweet potatoes, check.
Butternut squash, check.
Like I said, comfort in a bowl!

This recipe is oh-so-forgiving. Occasionally, I don’t have butternut squash, so I use all sweet potato. You can also substitute other winter squash.
Adding a dollop of JakoPure Plain Greek Yogurt to your bowl adds an excellent flavor and helps cool down the soup.
My five-year-old also says it’s kid approved!
Sweet Potato time!

Sweet potatoes grown in our family garden are now available in the farm store! Use them in a soup or to make that delicious sweet potato casserole for the holidays. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
We still want your leaves!
Soil health is a big priority for Jako Farm. We would love to turn your leaves into soil to nourish our land. We would LOVE you to bring us trash bags full of leaves to add to our compost pile. Simply leave your leaves (haha) outside the farm store. Please let me know if you have any questions!
THANK YOU to those who have already delivered.

Robyn,
For all of us at Jako Farm
